My recent stay at the NYX Hotel Dublin Portobello was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the warm and professional reception by Conor, the Duty Manager, made us feel welcome and valued as guests. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor set the tone for an excellent experience. Additionally, there was an Italian receptionist whose name I can't recall, but she was absolutely spectacular—her charm and helpfulness added a special touch to our stay. A special highlight of our visit was the breakfast experience. Pedro, the sous-chef, prepared dishes that were simply superb. Each meal was not only delicious but also carried a comforting, home-like quality that made our stay even more memorable. It felt like a perfect blend of top-tier culinary expertise and heartfelt hospitality. The hotel itself was impeccable, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Additionally, its location offered easy access to the city, making it convenient for both leisure and exploration. Overall, I highly recommend NYX Hotel Dublin Portobello for anyone looking for exceptional service, delicious cuisine, and a seamless stay. We look forward to returning!

Wonderful hotel with a great location, within walking distance to most tourist attractions. The staff were amazing and so helpful. We loved the breakfast and there was a wide choice of hot and cold foods to choose from. But what I loved the most was we had a room that was designed for people with disabilities, it was great because the room designers had really thought through everything. I am deaf and there was flashing lights for the fire alarms and they had even a vibrating alarm clock for your use. So inclusive! Loved the retro arcade games in reception, a lovely blast from the past!

This was my second stay in the NYX, my first stay was when it had just opened in a couple of months and they went above and beyond by decorating my room for my birthday. This time around it was just okay, cleanliness of the room is somewhat not the same standard anymore, the rooms are a bit dusty and both the robes I had in my room and old blood stains which was extremely shocking and a bit disappointing! The food at the restaurant isn’t great either, very limited menu also, I decided to give the food a second chance still a let down

Was very reasonably priced compared to other Dublin City hotels. Perfect location for us visiting our son just starting at Trinity College. Half way between the city centre and his student accommodation in Daltry. A short direct walk south to meet him down rathmines Road which had a nice neighbourhood feel and good bars/ restaurants. Another short walk north to st Stephen’s Green and Grafton street for shopping and fancy restaurants. Will definitely use this hotel as our base when visiting our son while he’s at uni.

Room was very modern, I loved it. The staff had to have been the friendliest I’ve ever seen at a hotel which I appreciated. And the breakfast was really good as well. I’m gonna include some pictures of the hotel in this review cos I really couldn’t find anything on this property other than prototype pictures when I first booked so was a bit wary, but was glad that I stuck with my booking. Worth a visit!
